AUSTRALIANS IN ACTION AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN GERMANY

Several Australians, and regular competitors in Australian competition, are in action at the 2023 World Championship for the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2-Masters categories in Germany this weekend.

Fresh from finishing runner-up in the Australian KZ2 Championship, Jake Klarich is joined by Victorian Jay Coul and Australian Kart Championship regular from New Zealand Nathan Crang in the KZ2 category.  During qualifying, the trio set the 82nd, 75th and 95th fastest times respectively in the 119-driver field.

In the KZ2-Masters category, Daniel Bray, who has spent much of the recent years sharing his knowledge with the younger KZ2 drivers than competing himself, set the second fastest time during qualifying.

Competing against all of the factory European teams, Patrizicorse driver Marijn Kremers was 15th fastest in the KZ category.

The opening heats were contested on Friday before continuing on Saturday with the finals to be contested on Sunday.
