Last year’s East Coast Title presented a great opportunity for up and coming drivers to compete in conjunction with the CIK Stars of Karting Series aboard their Clubman and Junior National machinery. This year, it will be the same challenge but with a new name.

Wilson triumphs after four-way battle for International Kart Trophy - from KartSport NZ

He had to fight tooth and nail for it but KartSport New Zealand's premier international prize, the CIK Trophy of New Zealand, is now in Wellington driver Karl Wilson's hands after the 26-year-old won a thrill-a-minute KZ2 class Final at the annual CIK Trophy of New Zealand- presented by Paymark meeting at KartSport Wellington's CRC Raceway near Upper Hutt on Sunday.

Mawson & Locals win, but Gracie emerges at Rotax Pro Tour

Whilst Joseph Mawson took out the Rotax Pro Tour Junior MAX Light race at Todd Road today, the racer everyone was talking about was Gold Coaster, Renee Gracie - who took a significant step forward in her racing career - challenging the double national champion right to the flag.

TAG 125 CLASS SET FOR CIK STARS OF KARTING OPENER IN IPSWICH

The TaG 125 class has been chosen by the Ipswich Kart Club as the ‘Support Class’ for the opening round of the 2011 CIK Stars of Karting Series next month (February 26/27).

A day of drama in Melbourne Rotax Pro Tour

Troy Woolston has set the pace in the opening day of the Rotax Pro Tour at Melbourne’s Todd Road circuit today, leading a clean sweep of the Rotax Heavy division, meantime, David Sera has shown his absolute class in a stacked Light field and the Pierce Lehane/Joseph Mawson junior rivalry has taken a step up in a day packed full of drama.
