The final day of the Rotax Pro Tour Canberra, the first event of the 2011/12 Rotax Pro Tour, saw a number of exciting finals races in each of the seven classes that competed at Canberra’s Fairbairn Park circuit. The main focus of attention was on Rotax Light, where 28 of the 35 karts entered battled it out in the 25-lap final.

Saturday’s heat racing from the Rotax Pro Tour Canberra saw some of the most competitive racing seen at the Fairbairn Park complex. A major focus was on the wet weather that hung around for most of Saturday, until it cleared to a sunny afternoon that gave a number of competitors some relief from the inclement conditions.
