A total of 168 entries have been received for the 2011 Hunters Products Tasmanian Sprint Kart Championships to be hosted by the Launceston Kart Club on November 18-20.
The Junior National Light category, for drivers aged between 12 and 16 years of age, has attracted the largest number of entries with 20 drivers set to line up on the grid for the blue ribbon event.
The Midgets category, for youngsters aged between seven and ten years of age, has attracted an impressive 17 entries. At the other end of the age scale is the Over 40’s category, where 18 drivers who are ‘more experienced in life than most’ will suit up.
