World Cups for KF2 & KF3: Busy schedule at Sarno! - from the CIK-FIA

The names of the Drivers entered in the 2011 CIK-FIA World Cups for KF2 and KF3 are known!

And there will be lots of them in Sarno on 15-18 September, to such an extent that it will be necessary to bring forward the whole usual timetable by half a day: scrutineering shall take place on Wednesday afternoon and the first qualifying heats are scheduled for Friday afternoon, with qualifying practice to be held as early as on Friday morning.

In order to give everyone sufficient track time, both in practice and in races, the schedule had to be altered thus. It is the price we have to pay for a successful entry with 119 competitors in KF3 and 101 in KF2, to whom must be added the KF1 Drivers who will have their fourth and penultimate event of the season at the foot of the Vesuvius.

For the members of the organisation, Marshals, Officials, Teams and all the followers, the meeting will therefore resemble a marathon as on four especially busy days there will be 33 non-qualifying practice sessions, 10 warm-ups, 10 timed practice sessions, 36 qualifying heats and 10 final phase races!

On the initiative of the ever active Sarno-Napoli Organiser, the Sunday afternoon finals will get live television coverage on Sport Italia.
