Drivers will be wearing red arm bands and spectators are encouraged to wear red when the Cooloola Coast Kart Club holds its Race for Daniel Day.
President of the CCKC Kym Coomber said local racing prodigy Harrison Oddie would be the ambassador for the day, which would raise money for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
“Harrison is the same age as Daniel was when he was abducted,” she said of the decision.
“We hope to raise a lot of money for the foundation.”
