UPDATE TO THE AUSTRALIAN KARTING MANUAL - 26 MAY 2022

There has been an update to the 2022 Australian Karting Manual effective 26 May, 2022.

The updates fall into four (4) categories:

  1. Better alignment with and reinforcement of the provisions in the International Sporting Code.
  2. Some racing operations issues that became evident at Round 2 of AKC that particularly related to KZ2 starts, and the starting procedures for a KZ2 race that is required to be restarted because of a red flag stoppage before the race leader has competed the first lap of a race.
  3. Tidying up of several judicial rules related to the Race Prosecutor role and the use of the Infringement Notice that have become evident through several judicial processes conducted in the first few months of 2022.
  4. The addition of a ā€œZā€ axis for data collection to align our technical rules with a recent adjustment to the CIK-FIA rules.
