TYRE TENDER CLOSING DATE EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 3

As previously notified, the National Office is presently relocating to our new premises at 12 Macquarie Rd Penrith NSW.

One of the most important requirements in today’s business environment is that of communications both by phones and the internet. Before the AKA commenced the relocation to new premises orders were placed with our Telco providers to transfer our phone and internet lines on Monday and Tuesday this week, being fully operational by COB of Wednesday 18/7/2012.

Unfortunately these works have not been completed due to technical difficulties both at our premises and the Telstra Exchange leaving the AKA National Office with no phone or internet capabilities.

We have been advised that works should be completed within 10 days following hardware and cabling upgrades both on our site and at the exchange.

As the AKA National Office cannot receive emails we obviously will be unable to receive any Tyre Tender documents that may be emailed before the Tender closing time of 5.00pm EST on Friday 20/7/2012.

Due to the above circumstances, which are totally beyond the control of the AKA, the closing time of Tender ‘For The Supply of Karting Tyres 2013 –2016’ has now been extended to 5.00pm EST on Friday 3rd August 2012. This will ensure that all of the AKA Telco communications will have been reinstated and we can receive any tenders by email.
