SOUTHERN Downs residents will get the chance to watch some of the nation’s premier kart racers when the final round of the Rotax Pro Tour comes Sandy Creek Raceway later this month.
The Rotax Pro Tour is a national karting series, featuring some of Australia’s premier drivers, including current national and state champions.
The final round of the championship will be held from July 20-22.
The Rotax Nationals are scheduled for September in Dubbo, NSW.
At the completion of all events in the year, (the Rotax Nationals is the final event), the top three drivers from selected categories will be eligible to compete for Team Australia in Portugal at the Rotax World Finals.
