The April 2011 edition of KartOz Magazine is now on sale

Welcome Australian Karters to the April edition of KartOz Magazine. It’s another great month of karting action.

It’s getting ever so close to Nationals time and we’re especially excited at KartOz, considering that it’s going to be held right here in our backyard. We hope you’ll make the trip across the Nullabor for what will be the biggest single race meet in the country in 2011!

One that could – and often does – rival the Nationals for size is the Victorian Open. It frequently attracts the cream of the crop and this year was no different, especially considering it was held at the popular Todd Road circuit in the heart of Melbourne. We’ve got the full race report including some of the more famous names that dropped in to watch some of the finals action!

There’s also the first round of the CIK Series. Despite perhaps not having the numbers everyone looked incredibly smooth – both on track and off, with the new dress standards making a big difference. We’ve got the full report on who was able to maintain their form from last year and who ran into trouble.

Round Two of the Rotax Pro Tour was also run and won and as usual we’ve got the full report from trackside – run this time around at Dubbo Raceway, it was a popular event with everyone no doubt looking to book themselves a flight to the UAE for the World Finals.

The Victorian All Stars Series is traditionally one of the most popular events on a racer’s calendar and it certainly was again this year, with karters coming in droves to race at the Puckapunyal circuit. Featuring gearbox karts this year, the meeting was a great start to a great series and you can read all about it in our race report.

Plus there’s plenty more racing action inside this month’s issue.

Plus, as usual, we have heaps of race reports from around Australia and worldwide.
