THANK YOU PAM ARNETT

After more than 30 years of continuous service to the Victorian and Australian karting community, Karting Victoria Administrator Pam Arnett retired this week.

Pam has been a lynchpin for our sport at both the National level and for Victorian Karting for decades. In that time, as well as being responsible for the day to day administration of Karting in Victoria, Pam also held the AKA Inc. National Secretary and National Events Co-ordinator roles through the transition to today’s Karting Australia structure.

“Pam has been a giant of our sport and has made a massive contribution to Karting, not only as an administrator but also as a volunteer Official. With husband Harold, the Arnett’s have rarely been away from a kart track or club on any weekend of the year for all of the past 30 years. Without Pam and Harold’s massive contribution, Karting in Victoria and Nationally would be much poorer” said Karting Australia CEO Kelvin O’Reilly – “They are true stalwarts of our sport.”

While retiring from the Administrator’s role for Karting Victoria, Pam will be continuing to volunteer and officiate at events throughout Victoria and Australia. Thankfully, she will be staying on to help the national Karting family as Stewards Secretary, a vital member of the National Officials team at the Australian Kart Championship.

On behalf of Karting Australia, and the entire Australian karting community, we’d like to thank Pam for her tireless work over the years and wish her well in enjoying her life in retirement, but we look forward to seeing her at the track for many years to come.

Thank you Pam.
