Southern Go Kart Club President Jim Lester would like to thank all the teams and participants for supporting last weekend’s opening round of the 2012 CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol EDGE.
A huge thank you Club’s volunteers and officials who did an amazing effort in the extreme heat that we had during set-up, practice and racing.
Thanks also to Craig Denton and the International Karting Committee for giving Southern Go Kart Club the opportunity to host the opening round of this elite event and to Lee Hanatschek for his support prior leading in to and during the event. We hope to be chosen as the host club for a round in 2013 and look forward to seeing everyone again.
