TEAM AUSTRALIA CONFIRMED FOR 2025 ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE GRAND FINALS

Australia’s representatives for the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals have been decided following the Rotax National Cup at the Albury-Wodonga Kart Club last weekend.

After two days of competition across the Junior Max, Senior Max, DD2, and DD2 Masters categories, five drivers emerged victorious, earning the honour of donning the green and gold in Bahrain later this year.

Australia’s representatives are:

  • Hamish Campbell – Junior Max
  • Jace Matthews – Senior Max
  • Brent Reading – Senior Max
  • Terry Hanly – DD2 Masters
  • Harrison Hoey – DD2

The Albury event marked the culmination of the Rotax Life events for 2025, which included earlier qualifying events in Coffs Harbour, Ipswich, and Dubbo. Competitors from across the country converged on the border town for the chance to secure their ticket to Bahrain, where close to 400 of the world’s best Rotax racers from over 60 nations will battle it out in identical equipment.

The Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals is regarded as one of the most prestigious events in world karting. The unique format where drivers all use identical equipment supplied by world-renowned chassis manufacturers BirelART, Praga, Formula K and Sodi Kart ensures that success comes down purely to driver skill, racecraft, and determination.

With national pride on the line, Team Australia will head to Bahrain in November ready to take on the world and chase glory on the international stage.
