FRANKSTON’S Damon Strongman still remembers the moment he crossed the finish line at the Australasian Go Kart Titles in Numurkah.
The 12-year-old went on to become the Junior National Light Champion of 2010 despite being the youngest and almost having an accident on the second last lap of the race.
“After a sharp turn it felt like I was going to flip, but thankfully the kart stayed on the track,” Damon said.
