SEVEN DAYS UNTIL ENTRIES CLOSE FOR LEOPARD FINAL

Leopard RL and X30 competitors are reminded that there are only seven days (October 20) before entries close for the biggest event on the calendar for the category – the 2010 Leopard Final Shootout to be held in Geelong, Victoria on October 23/24.

Unlike previous years this event is not based on a series or strict qualifying procedure, you simply have to have competed with your Leopard RL or Parilla X30 in a minimum of three open meetings in any class or event on the AKA calendar this year that uses these engines to be eligible to compete.

If you feel you are eligible to enter but due to circumstances in your area which restricted you in competing with your engine please contact Remo Luciani direct with your reasons and you will be considered.

With one of the biggest prize pools of anywhere in the world, courtesy of Remo Racing, IAME and MG tyres, the event is set to attract some of the best drivers from all across the country.

Each driver will receive an original IAME t-shirt and cap and the top runners will be battling for the following prizes in the Leopard Light and Heavy categories:

1ST PLACE (Light & Heavy)
– Trophy
– IAME Parilla X30 engine
– $2000.00 voucher to go towards the cost of a drive to the 2011 Bruno Grana International X30 event in France where Lee Mitchener WON with an X30 this year.

2ND PLACE (Light & Heavy)
– Trophy
– IAME Parilla X30 engine

3RD PLACE (Light & Heavy)

There will also be a random draw for all competitors, except for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Light and Heavy, for an IAME Parilla X30 engine plus heaps of Remo Racing products.

The event also doubles as the National Championship for the Formula 100 Light and Heavy category with up to 60 of the country’s top drivers set to line up on the grid in those two categories.
