PRE-FINALS ARE COMPLETE AT NSW STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The pre-finals have all been completed in the New South Wales State Championships being hosted by the North Shore Kart Club at Newcastle.

While the morning’s action was held in dry conditions, wet weather descended on the Mount Sugarloaf Circuit this afternoon making life difficult for the drivers.

David Sera dominated the Clubman Light pre-final to claim a convincing victory ahead of cousin James Sera and Warren White, who got the better of a race long battle with Macauley Jones.

Queenslander Chris Hays found some pace throughout the day to win the pre-final in the Rotax Light category ahead of Jones and Jaie Robson.

In Leopard Heavy, it was a domination by Jason Hryniuk and Matthew Wall while Brendan Nelson upstaged the pair in Clubman Heavy to secure pole position for tomorrow’s final.

In the junior categories it was Dimitri Agathos (Junior National Light), Jordan Zammit (Junior National Heavy), Anton De Pasquale (Junior Clubman) and Joseph Mawson (Junior Max).

All the results have been uploaded to the CM:S System and can be viewed by clicking here followed by selecting NSW and the North Shore Kart Club in the drop down menus.
