Pacific Kartsport driver Damian Ward also finished fourth at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final in the UAE

2011 has been a stellar year for Pacific Kartsport Customers, as they have collectively won 9 of the 14 classes offered by the Ipswich Kart Club in this season’s “Club Champion” awards.

The Yatala based Kart Centre produced a fantastic winning formula for their customers that has proven itself not only on track during the racing season, but also through the ongoing consistency required to win the cherished annual points based awards.  Pacific Kartsport Customers to win their respective 2011 Club Champion Class Awards include;

  • Harrison Hoey – Midgets
  • Michael Fabri – Junior National Light
  • Thomas Pomroy – Junior National Heavy & also Overall Junior Club Champion
  • Kyle McGlinn – Junior Rotax
  • Rick Foster – Senior National Heavy
  • Daniel Creed – Touch and Go Restricted Heavy
  • Peter Virgulti – Touch and Go Heavy
  • Matt Goddard – Clubman Heavy
  • Troy Morrissey – Clubman Light

“Fiona, Troy, Adam and our Team continue to work hard at Pacific Kartsport to ensure that all of our customers are given good advice, quality service and great support in their racing,” said Dale Verrall, Pacific Kartsport Owner & Manager.  “It’s a testament to our staff and customers, and really quite pleasing to me, to see so many being ultimately successful in their racing.  This year has been a remarkable year on many levels with many more of our customers also filling the Club Championship Point Tables along with these winning 9 PKS customers.  An example of this is PKS customer Jarrod Costello who not only achieved his 1st race win this past weekend, but also his 1st round victory which gave him fourth overall in the championship.”

Pacific Kartsport generously organised some fantastic prizes for the Touch and Go (TAG) competition in conjunction with Remo Racing and Arrow Karts.  The TAG Light winner received an Arrow Chassis and the winner of TAG Heavy received an X30 engine.   The Ipswich Kart Club also has a great Annual Prize Pool reward program where as each club race day $5.00 per entry is added to the pool. At the end of the year the pool is divided into prizes and a random draw takes place.  This year the Club Prize Pool reached $6,350 and it has certainly encouraged local racers to race more regularly at their home track.

Over 150 drivers nominated and raced hard in the last race meeting of the Ipswich Kart Club season.  It was a terrific atmosphere and an excellent family day for everyone to wind up the year, especially for those winning Pacific Kartsport Customers.
