Only one week left to register interest for the Fujitsu 'Cool' driver program

The first initiative of its type in Australian motor racing, the “Cool” Driver concept sees Fujitsu General (Aust.) Pty Limited providing a grass-roots service to racing car stars of the future – and in doing so – they join the coveted list of ‘blue-chip’ companies, who for so long have been supporters of national ball sports, swimming and athletics.  Devised and managed by Velocity Management Group, this exciting youth development program provides a structured career development pathway for young and aspiring Australian motor racing drivers.

The Fujitsu “Cool” Driver program offers Australia’s up-and-coming motorsport talent the opportunity to receive lucrative personal endorsement, earn performance related bonuses, while benefitting career development and guidance during each year of participation.

Following a successful inaugural year, applications for the 2012 Fujitsu “Cool” Driver program are now open and will close 26 January 2012.  2012 offers 12 young drivers with the opportunity to join this exciting program for the year, up from 11 in 2011.  The additional coveted place comes about following an extensive review of the program and its success in assisting Australia’s best young talent to achieve their goals.

The 2012 program extends its reach into the junior ranks of karting by opening places to drivers as young as seven years-of-age and offers both state and national Formula Ford drivers the opportunity to earn a test drive with leading V8 Supercar team Garry Rogers Motorsport.

All applicants must complete the appropriate form as outlined below after reading the 2012 Program Terms, Conditions & Eligibility Criteria.
