“Why go slower when you can go faster”

With the 2012 season well on the way the Junior Clubman Drivers returned to Eastern Creek on a picture perfect Autumn’s day with no apparent April fools jokes! It was 1st April 2, 2012 after all.
North Shore Kart Club ran split classes over 2 days hence allowing time to run additional classes to be run with plenty of laps. The format allowed plenty of time for a 4 minute qualifying session two 10 lap heats, a 14 lap pre final and 16 lap final.
This series provides new hopefuls club level performance racing against some of the most experienced Junior Karters in the country such as CIK’s Dimitri Agathos, Jake Coleman and Lachlan Gibbons.

Dimitri Agathos demonstrated white hot pace in an absolute dominant performance to take a clean sweep. Jake Coleman demonstrated craftsmanship in the heat of battle to stave off a fast finishing Chris Sandrone in the final for second whilst Dylan Shepherd did very well for a fourth place despite struggling with a broken seat. Brodie Tilbrook displayed the usual consistency, unfortunately had a small off whilst battling for third place with Chris Sandrone in the early laps of the final. Brodie fought back well for a rewarding fifth place. Following the top five was Reagan Angel adapting very well to his first run in JC with surprising pace.
All 14 karters showed solid performances and with a little more experience will take it to the front guys. The series is run over 5 rounds with over $4000 in prizes to be given out in random draws over the five rounds hence aiming to reward all participants.
