NEW DIGITAL KARTING AUSTRALIA OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT PORTAL SET TO GO FOR JANUARY

The Karting Operations Management Portal will elevate karting in Australia into the digital era in 2023.

Karting Australia will enter a new era for licencing, membership, and events in 2023 with the introduction of the Karting Operations Management Portal (KOMP).

The KOMP will elevate karting in Australia into the digital era with an all-new digital licence for Drivers, Participants, Officials and Media all in the one place.

The introduction of the KOMP and Mobile App will provide a simplified platform for licence applications, event entry, endorsements, the completion of scrutineering forms, the ability to enter a full Championship or Series in a single simple entry process and an enhanced communications tool – just to name a few features.

The Octozy platform has been leveraged to implement KOMP with the team at InWolk over the past 12 months. The KOMP will see Karting Australia lead the way in licencing and the management of karting events with the ability for all event management functions – including Infringement Notices, Protests and Penalty Notifications able to be completed digitally.

“For several years now we’ve been investigating options to better serve our licence holders in the digital era and I’m pleased that we’ll be able to share the KOMP with Karting Australia affiliated States, Clubs, Officials and licence holders in the coming months,” said Karting Australia Chief Executive Officer Kelvin O’Reilly.

“Our Chief Operating Officer Lee Hanatschek has spent a significant amount of time in researching our options to provide a suitable platform for the management of our Licencing, Membership and Event needs.  The KOMP has been developed with the goal of moving our sport into a new era and streamline processes for licence holders, officials and club office bearers in the process.”

The all-new digital licence for Drivers, Participants, Officials and Media will all be in the one place.

“It will simplify licencing and event management for our State and Club administrators and just as it should be, from the start of 2023 everything that our karting community needs related to their licences and events will be instantly accessible on their smart phone.”

For InWolk’s Director, Imran Buch, the end-to-end implementation of the KOMP is something that he and his staff are extremely excited about.

“Karting is a very complex sport, so to develop a system that provides the world-leading licencing, membership and event entry was a challenge put forward by Karting Australia. Our flexible enterprise Octozy business application platform has enabled simplification of complex workflows. Team InWolk is confident that the end user will be provided with a great experience,” said Buch.

“We look forward to working with Karting Australia into the future and ensuring the KOMP continues to meet the needs of the Clubs and Licence holders for many years to come.”

Online introductory training for Clubs and Officials will be held later this month and into December before the KOMP will be launched for the Australian karting community in January.

The KOMP will be accompanied by an App that will be available for download through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the coming weeks.
