National Historic Karting Committee Memo

At the recent NKC meeting held in Melbourne, I was appointed the Co Ordinator of the National Historic Karting Committee.

As each state now appears to either have, or is in the process of forming its own Historic Club for this growing section of our sport, the members of the NKC agreed that this topic should be included on the agenda for the NKC meeting to be conducted over the weekend of June 23 & 24, 2012 in Sydney.

I am seeking submissions from each state to help formulate a more consistent and representative set of rules for this section of karting.

Some states may have already appointed a representative to sit on the committee, or alternatively have an interim representative available.

The NKC has agreed to meet the costs of a representative from each state attending the conference for a day to discuss the relevant matters, or, alternatively arrange for a telephone hook up instead of attending the conference.

Could the states please advise me of the names and contact details of the relevant representatives in each state, so the next step in this procedure can take place.

As the conference date is drawing near, could you please treat this matter with some urgency, to ensure it proceeds.

Thanks for your assistance.

David Murray,
Co Ordinator National Historic Karting Committee.
