Iconic V8 Supercar driver Craig Lowndes was featured in the ‘My Life in Pictures’ section in yesterday’s edition of the Sunday Mail, where he spoke about his motor racing life that started at the age of nine in Victoria.
In the Me as a child section, Lowndes said “karting was where it all begain for me as a young kid and it was a fantastic opportunity to learn the basic skills required in motorsport. My father and I spent many a time travelling around Victoria racing karts and when I look back they were some really great times. Karting really is the foundation of motorsport and where we all learn our craft; it was definitely a lot of fun.”
