For the sixth consecutive year, the Combined Districts Kart Club’s Lithgow City Raceway turned pink last weekend when the iconic venue played host to the All Ladies Race Day to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

While winning on the track was in the mind of the racers, the biggest prize was the funds raised for the foundation with initial calculations being indicated that more than $10,000 was raised from the event.

With competitors from many parts of Australia, including Western Australian, the Northern Territory, Queensland and Victoria – as well as one from New Zealand, the spirits were high all throughout the pit area.
