LICENCING AND MEMBERSHIP PORTAL UPDATES

Over the coming days, users will notice some updates to the Karting Operations and Membership Portal (KOMP).

Some of the updates from the end users will include:

  • The ability to view competitor details in classes that the licence holder is eligible to compete in.
  • Users will be able to update their transponder numbers during the entry process rather than only through the karts and engines tab in the portal.
  • Users will be able to delete their karts and engines that are no longer used.  This can be completed under the karts and engines tab in the portal.

These updates have been initially released in the portal (portal.karting.net.au) and will be updated in the Karting Australia App following the processes that need to be followed by Apple and Google for the App Store and Google Play store respectively.  It is expected that this will occur by early next week.

In the coming weeks, there will be changes to the Social Karting Activity Application process to streamline the approval procedure for many Clubs across the country, particularly those who do not have designated days when their track is available for use.

Following these updates, there will be further enhancements of the system for Race Day Officials to be released in the near future, details of which will be advised as this module of the system progresses through the development and testing stages.
