LAST DAYS TO ENTER WA JUNIOR CHALLENGE

Competitors wishing to enter the Central Systems WA Junior Challenge to be hosted by the Albany City Kart Club on February 2/3 are reminded that entries close THIS FRIDAY January 11.

The event, incorporating the inaugural Western Australian Junior Rotax Championship, will see competitors battle for some fantastic prizes, trophies and cash across the weekend with the total prizepool across the six categories currently exceeding $12,000.

Along with the blue plate, the winner of the Junior Rotax category will receive a free entry into the Rotax Pro Tour and a free set of Mojo tyres courtesy of International Karting Distributors.

All entrants will receive a free souvenir hoodie.  In addition to the regular racing format, there will also be a one-lap shootout where the fastest driver in the Cadets, Rookies, Junior National Light and Heavy categories will receive $200 and the Junior Clubman category $300.

With the event open to all junior drivers, including P Platers (except for the Junior Clubman and Rotax classes), the fastest 60% of drivers during qualifying in the Cadets, Rookies and Junior National categories will compete in Group A while the remaining 40% will compete in Group B.  This effectively allows drivers more of an opportunity to compete for the victory in their respective category.

In addition to prizes for the winners, there will also be some great random prizes for all competitors including a Cadet/Rookie chassis and a Junior chassis.
