KZ WA Series announces a naming rights sponsor

After a successful 2012, with an average of 23 competitors at each of the four rounds. 2013 is shaping up to be an even bigger and better year. After forming a committee to assist in organising the series, with its rapid growth, the KZ WA series is proud to announce it has secured auto parts company Auto One to be the title sponsor for 2013.

The Auto One KZ WA series, as it will be known, has expanded to have 5 rounds in the series, as well as the massive Dash for Cash event as a Grand Finale, but non points round, at the end of the year to showcase the series. Again the hard work of the Dash for Cash committee saw eastern states and international factory teams compete in 2012, so 2013 is looking bigger and better for the event as well.

Series Organisers have also secured individual round sponsors for the Auto One KZ WA series, which will see a minimum of $1000 prize money shared at every round and not just with the top three. The intention is to support the whole field with a “hard charger award”, “highest rookie” and other prizes at each round. There are a few WA teams travelling to each Stars of Karting round as well, giving the option for eastern states competitors to come and compete in the Auto One series and compliment their Stars of Karting season.
