The new Kosmic Racing NSW outfit has announced the team’s driver lineup for the up coming CIK Stars of Karting Series.

The team will have support from Kosmic Racing Department team principal Olivier Marechal from Europe and Australian karting Supremo Remo Luciani from Remo Racing.

Running the team on a day-to-day basis will be former CIK Stars of Karting series Co-ordinator Peter Galvin, who recently spent time in Japan at the World Championships with the Kosmic Racing Department. Galvin has also secured the Sydney NSW dealership of the famous brand of kart and believes the old saying ‘win on Sunday, sell on Monday’, so he will be leaving no stone unturned in the quest to perform well.

A number of the countries top drivers have signed with the team including:
Three-time National Champion, and former Pro Light (KF1) Title holder and last year’s runner up Cian Fothergill
– Multiple National and State title holder and last years second runner-up in the Pro Light (KF1) Championship Mathew Waters
– ‘Crowd favorite’ Daniel Holihan
– Young and up coming Dimitri Agathos, who is preparing for his second year in the Pro Junior (KF3) category
– Mathew Boylan and Elle Brydon will be competing in the Australian Leopard Challenge

These drivers will make up the factory team but also running alongside the Kosmic Racing NSW outfit will be Jacob Parsons still running under the guidance of the very knowledgeable Troy Hunt in his Top Gun racing Team.

Through out the year the team hopes to announce more drivers and some very interesting news that should help not only the team but also karting in Australia.

Kosmic Racing NSW is aiming to have representative in the Yamaha Challenge, Clubman and Junior National, throughout the year as well.

“I think its very important to be able to showcase the Kosmic Chassis in both of the Yamaha classes as well as the other classes. This is a great opportunity for some young drivers to experience a factory team and the support that comes with it. We have a whole different rage of packages to suit each person,” said Team Principal Peter Galvin

Australian Kosmic importer Remo Luciani is very excited about the upcoming year “I can’t wait to see the Kosmic Racing NSW team in action, they will also be working close with JAM Racing, who are also supported by me and are the Victorian arm of the Kosmic team.”
