Applications for a Karting Australia Training Certification Grant are now open, until June 30, 2025.
The Karting Australia Training Certification Grant aims to support the continuous improvement of officials’ development and training, recognising the vital role that officials play in the sport of karting.
This grant supports eligible State and National Officials to enhance their professional development and gain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) – a nationally recognised qualification that builds the skills needed to deliver high-quality training as required in accordance with Chapter 7 and Appendix 7 of the Australian Karting Manual – National Competition Rules.
Officials will complete most of the course via self-paced online learning, followed by a 3-day live virtual workshop through our preferred provider, RAM Training Services.
Karting Australia will provide a co-contribution of $750 to successful applicants. Applicants are expected to secure matching co-funding of $750, which may be sourced from a State Association, Club, sponsor, or personal contribution.
Who Should Apply?
-
State and National Graded Officials (Level 2+ preferred)
-
Officials without prior education/teaching qualifications
