BUNDABERG’S Jeremy Landt claimed a state title for the second year in a row, taking out the Senior National Heavy at the 2011 Queensland Sprint Kart Championships at Warwick on the weekend.
Two months shy of his 17th birthday, the apprentice electrician is still on his learner driver’s license, but he is already very accomplished behind the wheel of his kart.
Landt took up the sport seven years ago and he snared his first state title last year, in the Junior National Heavy, but he stepped up to seniors for the first time and handled the transition with ease.
