HEAT RESULTS FROM THE ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE GRAND FINALS (updated)

The opening qualifying heats have been run and won at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals at the NOLA Motorosports Park in New Orleans, USA.

All three Australians in the Junior ranks are direct through to tomorrow’s pre-final with Joseph Burton-Harris set to start from 8th, 26th and 28th respectively.  Two of the three Australians in the DD2 Masters (Adam Hunter and Daniel Richert) are also directly into the pre-final with Hamish Leighton unfortunately missing a spot in the finals after a lap one incident in the last chance race dropped him down the order.

In the Senior Max category Australia’s three drivers will start from inside the top 20 for tomorrow’s pre-final. Jason Pringle leads the charge for the DD2 drivers with a ninth place starting spot for tomorrow’s pre-final.

Live timing from the event is available here.
