Go-kart success - from the Yass Tribune

Racing Go-karts has become a passion which has brought local 18-year-old Marc Townsend a very successful two years. A member of the Canberra Kart Racing Club, he races predominantly at the Fairburn track, where meetings and competitions are held every month.

Marc was runner-up in the Rotax Restricted Class Championship for 2009. In 2010 he moved up to the very competitive Rotax Light division. His most recent placing was first in the NSW Southern Zone round and second in the recent Canberra Cup.
