REIGNING champion Cian Fothergill is back in the hunt for the CIK Stars of Karting Pro Light series following a resilient win in round three.
Fothergill had a new kart for the round being fought out at Melbourne’s Todd Road circuit and it presented with issues for his team throughout the heats.
“I had a few dramas with engine problems and a punctured tyre and rim damage but we got them sorted,” Fothergill said.
In unfamiliar territory for the first final at the back end of the grid, Fothergill whipped his way around the circuit and managed a serviceable fourth.
