DP Karts has a new lead driver in Junior Jaidyn Job.

“We’re looking at using Jaidyn as the face of DP Karts in 2011,” said team boss Craig Holowell.

“We’re going to put everything behind him, and we believe he could be one of the future stars of motorsport”.

The DP deal comes after years of support of Job by Greg Woodrow and Mygale Australia, who have also come on board as support sponsor for the DP Karts team.

“He’s fantastic; he has a great potential to be an absolute front-runner”, said Greg Woodrow of Mygale Australia.

“He’s a good young guy who has a lot of maturity about him, and he’s very, very committed to being quick.”

Jaidyn himself was enthusiastic about the deal with DP Karts.

“It’s the first time I’ve signed with a racing team, and I’m getting the best equipment, great motors, great knowledge; it’s really good all-round,” said Jaidyn. Driving in Juniors this year, he says he is going to relish the highly competitive class.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of that,” he said.

“I’ve been doing some testing at Oakleigh and I’m really looking forward to Junior Top Guns and the bigger meetings like the State titles.” The chance to work with the DP karts team is also something he jumped at.

“The great thing about working with DP karts is we know we’re going to get the best out of our engines and know we’re going to get trust and honesty, and not get stooged or anything,” he said.

The Holowells are known for their development and precision when dealing with engines, something they showed with Jake Dixon last year.

“I’m definitely also looking forward to that attention to detail, and getting the better speed out of the engine as well”, said Jaidyn.

Jaidyn’s first race for 2011 will be at first round of the Junior Top Guns and he is sure to be one to look out for.
