IT was a case of better late than never for “Karting Kevin” Doherty as he stuck his seal of authority on proceedings at Fitzroy Park Raceway on Saturday.
It was the final meeting of the year for the Formula K Karting Club and Doherty put to one side his normal work behind the scenes to jump into a kart for a spot of racing.
