COMMITTEES CONFERENCE HELD IN SYDNEY

The Australian Karting Association’s Annual Committees conference was held on the weekend in Sydney.

With four conferences dedicated to different areas of our sport – Technical, Track, Administration and Officials – each of the forums was chaired by a member of the National Executive.

National Vice President Dave Kissock chaired the Technical Committee, National Treasurer Peter O’Neill chaired the Track Committee, National Secretary Pam Arnett the Administration Committee and National President Craig Denton the Officials Committee.

Each of the Committees have made recommendations for the National Karting Council for decisions to be made at their next Conference in August in preparation for the 2013 manual.

The agenda for the August NKC Conference will be available shortly and it’s recommended that all members keep an eye on karting.net.au for the agenda and attend their upcoming club meetings to have their say on the recommendations from the committees.

Karting Australia acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
