CIK Karting for Faint hearted - from the Gladstone Observer

THREE Gladstone karters, including a defending champion from 2010, start their 2011 seasons this weekend.

Jason Faint returned to the sport last year after a few seasons away from the track, joining the Two4Tuning team and at Gerard Battye’s insistence, Faint has thrown himself in at the deep end for 2011, nominating for the CIK Stars of Karting series in the cutthroat gearbox category.

Faint joins John Grother and Cain Fothergill, last year’s CIK Pro Lite champion in the series, which is the premier karting championship in the country, round one of which is on this weekend in Ipswich.
