Chassis partners for Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals Announced

BRP’s organization of the 14th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) continues on with the announcement of the four independent chassis brands for this year’s Grand Finals.

“We are pleased to announce this year’s Grand Finals chassis partners, and welcome having two new partners on board,” said Helmut Voglsam, supervisor, Rotax Kart Engines.

The new partners are Energy Corse, supporting the Rotax 125 Junior Max category and IPKarting (Praga), supporting the Rotax 125 MAX DD2 Masters class.

“Energy Corse racing approach is one that is heavily focused on driver development by honing the driver’s natural abilities and ultimately perfecting their on- and off-track abilities which makes them an all-round perfect professional driver. It is for this reason we are very pleased with the Rotax programs worldwide and proud to be part of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals,” said Michele Panigada, CEO, Energy Corse.

“IPKarting is very interested to become a chassis manufacturer for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in order to be more present in Rotax’ growing market,” stated Daniel Sliva, Chairman of the Board, IPKarting.

After one year of intermission, BRP’s long-term partner (eight times) CRG is back on the track at the Grand Finals with its chassis for the Rotax 125 MAX DD2 class and Sodikart, BRP’s partner running for more than four years, is supporting the event in the Rotax 125 MAX category.

To decide on the right partners is essential for a racing event like the RMCGF. Therefore the chassis partners play a major role. Their know-how, their high quality products, their team on-site and their long-term experience is important for the athletes. They expect having the best equipment to demonstrate their performance on the track.

“After so many years of working successfully with a lot of different chassis manufacturers it has been a tough decision. The goal is to have a good mixture between new and long term partners. We would like to thank all chassis manufacturers for their interest in being part of this event, we really have been impressed by the number of potential partners participating in the tender,” concluded Robert Gumpenberger, organizer of the RMCGF.

The 14th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, from November 13 to 16, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, will be the biggest event ever since the very beginning in the year 2000. Racing in four categories 288 participants from close to 60 countries will gather at the NOLA Motorsports Park kart track to race for the RMCGF titles.
