JUNIOR national champion Pierce Lehane has made a dream start to the CIK Stars of Karting series by scoring maximum points in the competition’s opening round in Ipswich, Queensland.
The 15-year-old from Castle Hill dominated the field, winning all three heats and both finals to pick up 85 points.
Pierce’s kart had engine problems, losing him speed with five laps remaining in the second final.
