The Mackay Kart Club is this weekend (October 20/21) hosting its annual Whitsunday Titles with some huge cash prizes up for grabs thanks to event sponsor Pacific Homes.
With the TaG 100 category one of the most popular in the region, there will be a total prize pool of $2000 for the category. All competitors in the Clubman categories will be vying for the $1,000 winners cheque and there will also be $500 on the line for the winner of the other categories.
Along with the cash prizes, there will also be some random draws for some fantastic Yamaha merchandise, several sets of Dunlop SL1s and some sets of tuning lights.
“Last year’s event attracted 140 entries, and with more prizemoney up for grabs this year we’re hoping to increase this even more. For the past few weeks there has been a buzz in the air around Mackay for this event and it looks like it’s going to be a great event,” said Mackay Kart Club Vice-President Damian Brasher.
“In addition to the prizepool we’ve also got trophies the size of small children, which look great, and the club are determined to ensure that all of the visitors have a great time here in Mackay.”
While pre-entries close midnight Wednesday October 17 entries for the event will remain open until Saturday morning, further information can be viewed on the flyer below.
