The curtain has fallen on another thrilling season of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol, with the sport’s biggest night of the year – the Gala Awards Night – celebrating the champions, teams, and contributors who defined 2025.
Hosted at the Pacific Bay Resort, the formal event welcomed competitors, families, officials, sponsors, and dignitaries for an evening of recognition and celebration. More than $100,000 in prizes were distributed across the night, rewarding the top finishers in the five-round national series.
The evening combined prestige with emotion, as a special video tribute was shown honouring Joseph Bianchini, while the efforts of volunteers and officials – the backbone of the sport – were also recognised. Guests were also treated to a special video message from Formula 1 star Oscar Piastri, who congratulated the new champions and encouraged Australia’s young drivers to keep striving towards their dreams.
A highlight of the night was the presentation of the Championship Honour Roll, with new names joining a list that has produced some of Australia’s greatest motorsport talents. From Cadets making their first mark on the national stage to seasoned senior drivers achieving career-defining victories, the Gala Awards reflected the depth and strength of Australian karting.
