APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR INAUGURAL FIA KARTING ‘ARRIVE AND DRIVE’ WORLD CUP

Two young Australian drivers will have the opportunity to represent their country at the inaugural FIA Karting ‘Arrive and Drive’ World Cup to be held at the LYL International Circuit in Malaysia from 14-16 November 2025.

The inaugural FIA Karting ‘Arrive and Drive’ World Cup will be held at the LYL International Circuit in Malaysia from 14–16 November 2025.

The event will feature two categories: a Junior class for drivers born between 2011 and 2013, and a Senior class for those born between 2007 and 2011. All competitors will race using identical equipment supplied by the OTK Kart Group as part of the entry fee, ensuring a level playing field that highlights driver skill.

In the initial phase, each country may nominate one driver per category, like the successful FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Karting Australia is now inviting applications from suitably credentialed licence holders, from which two drivers will be selected to be eligible to compete in this prestigious international event.

Eligibility Note: Drivers must not have competed in any event forming part of an FIA Karting Championship or Cup in 2023, 2024 or 2025. However, drivers who have only competed in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy are not affected by this restriction and remain eligible to apply.

The top three finishers in each category will be invited to participate in the Karting Excellence Centre Shootout – an initiative under the FIA’s Global Karting Plan. The Senior category winner will earn a scholarship to support their progression to FIA Formula 4, while the Junior winner will receive financial support for the following season in an FIA Karting Championship.

This is an exciting opportunity for Australia’s emerging karting talent to showcase their ability on the global stage in identical equipment as their counterparts from all across the globe.

To complete the application form, drivers are required to complete the application form by clicking here prior to Friday July 11.
