A message from the new Victorian Country Series Co-ordinator

Welcome to the 2011 Victorian Country Series

A big thank you to Trevor Crane for Co-ordinating the series for the last few years, he has done a fabulous job and has left big shoes to fill.

The Series this year will run 13 classes, Leopard, Rotax, Senior National & TaG Restricted will all run at a pro weight. Junior Performance has been deleted due to low numbers and will be reviewed later in the year as Junior Clubman comes to an end.

The points this year remain as all points count on the day as well as for the series and there is no requirement as to how many meetings you have to run. The highest points at the end of the series is the winner of that class.

NEW DETAILS ON HOW TO ENTER
Entries will be by the CM:S system, simply go to:
karting.net.au (click ‘apply for a licence’) using your Licence ID number and password. Under ‘My Details’ function (top right) choose ‘Pre-Enter Race Meeting’ and leave all your details.

IF YOU ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY ENTERING OR YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS YOU MUST CONTACT THE VKA OFFICE DIRECTLY
(BETWEEN 10:00am to 5:00 WEEKDAYS)
EMAIL: vka@bigpond.net.au
TEL: (03) 9362 1144 – (Melbourne)
TEL: (03) 5449 6362 – (Country)
FAX: (03) 5449 6442

We are trialling this method of entry as it will become the way to enter all race meetings in the future. The progressive entry list will still be available on the website www.victoriancountryseries.com

With most of the organising clubs only having one open meeting this year, I’m confident that they will go out of their way to put on a great show for you, but remember, that it is your series as well and if you think something can be imporved in some way please let us know.

The series kicks off on the weekend of February 13th at Cobden, so get your entry in and good luck.

Cheers
