THE Port Macquarie Kart Racing Club’s “Come and Try” weekend was heralded as a success, according to secretary Jill Tyrell.
The Australian Karting Association (AKA) sanctioned event invited budding racers to test their skills and ability in real race karts supplied by generous members of the PMKRC.
In showcasing the sport, more than 70 people visited the well-presented track at Pacific Park Raceway to jump in one of the J100 or Clubman series karts to experience the thrill of racing.
