2026 venues and final schedule to be announced in the coming days
Karting Australia is proud to announce that the Seven Network has extended its arrangement for the Australian Kart Championship to continue being streamed live and on-demand on 7plus Sport, the Network’s premier digital sports platform for the next three years.
Following a landmark debut season on 7plus – which showcased Rounds 2-5 of the 2025 Championship to national audiences – Seven’s renewed commitment represents a resounding endorsement of the sport’s growth, its production quality, and its position as the foundation of Australia’s motorsport pathway.
The extended agreement ensures that fans across the country will continue to enjoy free, live and free access to Australia’s premier kart racing series, featuring more than 300 competitors each round from across Australia, New Zealand and Asia in eight fiercely contested classes, from Cadet 9 to the elite KZ2 gearbox category.
Seven Network Commercial Director – Sport, Renée Quirk, said the Network was delighted to continue its support for Australian karting.
“Karting has proven to be a highly engaging addition to our motorsport offering on 7plus,” said Quirk.
“We’re excited to continue working with Karting Australia and to build on a partnership that celebrates emerging talent and brings grassroots motorsport to a national audience.”
Karting Australia Chief Executive Officer Kelvin O’Reilly welcomed the extension and praised Seven’s belief in the Championship.
“Seven’s decision to extend our arrangement is a tremendous endorsement of the Championship and of the professionalism of our team at Karting Australia along with value of karting as the cornerstone of Australian motorsport,” said O’Reilly.
“We are grateful for the belief in what we’re doing from Renée, Seven’s Head of Motorsport Angela Rampal and Head of Sport – Digital Kirsty Bradmore along with their team for their ongoing commitment to helping us showcase karting as the true foundation of Australian motorsport. We look forward to delivering a high-quality product that reflects well on both organisations into the future.”
The Australian Kart Championship will return to 7plus next March, with ten hours of action shown live during each round, and available On Demand post event, across smart TVs, mobile devices and the 7plus website.
Fans can tune in via 7plus.com.au or the 7plus app.
