Submissions are now open for the 2025 Karting Australia Photo of the Year Award, recognising the photographers who capture the sport’s most dynamic, emotional and memorable moments. This initiative celebrates the artistry and storytelling that bring karting to life and supports Karting Australia’s ongoing commitment to elevating the visibility and professionalism of the sport.
Four categories will be judged in 2025: Action Photo of the Year, Emotional Photo of the Year, Photo of the Year (non-AKC Events) and Photo of the Year (AKC Events)
Photographers who have attended four or more rounds of the Australian Kart Championship are ineligible to submit images in the non-AKC category.
Accredited photographers may submit up to three images per category, with all photos required to have been taken at a Karting Australia-sanctioned event during 2025. Each nomination must be submitted through the link listed below and include a high-resolution image and a short description outlining the context behind the moment captured. Submissions close December 15.
A panel of industry experts, media representatives and Karting Australia management will assess the entries, with winners announced at the Karting Australia Annual Honours and Awards Ceremony. Winning images will also be featured across Karting Australia’s official platforms, showcasing the talent and creativity within the karting community.
