Australia’s best Rotax racers have converged on Albury this weekend for the 2025 Rotax National Cup – the event that will decide which drivers earn the honour of representing the nation at the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals later this year.

The National Cup marks the culmination of the Rotax Life events held across the country, with qualifying events staged in Coffs Harbour, Ipswich, and Dubbo. Only those who earned their place through these events are eligible for selection in Team Australia’s Grand Finals line-up.

Competitors in Junior Rotax, Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, DD2 and DD2 Masters will battle for glory and the chance to wear the green and gold on the world stage. The 2025 Grand Finals in Bahrain will unite 400 of the best Rotax drivers from more than 60 nations, all racing in identical equipment to crown the winners.

With national pride on the line, the action at the Albury-Wodonga Kart Club will be as the spots for Team Australia are secured.

Racing begins Saturday morning with practice before qualifying and heats, with Champions to be crowned in Sunday’s Finals.
