STATEMENT: REGAN PAYNE REINSTATED AS PRO TOUR ROUND ONE WINNER

Following an inquiry by Karting Australia, Regan Payne has been reinstated as the winner of the Rotax 125 Heavy Class at the opening Round of the 2015 Rotax Pro Tour.

Mr Payne was originally excluded from the Race Meeting and Suspended for a period of one month.

The inquiry found there was ambiguous wording in the Technical Specification document in regards to the measurement of the combustion chamber for the engine.  The Technical Document for this engine has been updated to remove this ambiguity.

Mr Payne will now be recognised as the winner of the event and receive the first place trophy.  The Rotax Rankings will be adjusted accordingly.
