All class weights as per the 2008 WA State Rules and the 2008 AKA Karting Manual. Those running water cooled engines in the Sportsman class must run with a 5kg weight penalty.
Pro-Cadets to run at 95kg with AKA 1 Restrictor Plate.
Sportsman 125 Light and Heavy will be run on the track at the same time, with the lights off the front, unless otherwise determined by stewards.
Restricted 125 Light and Heavy will be run off the back of the Sportsman 100 classes unless otherwise determined by the stewards
Junior Classes presented by Smarter than Smoking.
CONDITIONS: Three entries will constitute a class. Nominees will be notified by phone, before 5pm on Tuesday 22nd April 2008, if a class is to be cancelled. Karratha Kart Club reserves the right to alter the race format including number of laps, to suit number of nominations, track conditions and race timetable.

DRIVERS REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE BEFORE YOU ARE SCRUTINEERED AND YOU GO ON THE TRACK FOR OFFICIAL PRACTICE.
Karts must be scrutineered before official practice as per rule 12.01(a).
Drivers must participate in official practice as per Rule 16.10.

SPECIAL Presentation will be one hour after posting of points.
CONDITIONS: A break will occur late afternoon to allow the sun to set at the Officials discretion and racing will be completed under lights.
Clear visor will be required.
Pit crew wishing to enter pits must have a pit crew pass.
Comer engines will be sealed.
Tyres will be marked as per 2008 AKA Manual.
Random engine measuring will be undertaken.
Please note on entry form if sharing a kart in different classes.
Enclosed footwear must be worn in all pit and grid areas.
CANTEEN: The canteen will be open on Friday from 10am onwards and from 7am on Saturday morning
Breakfast will be available at the canteen on Saturday.
BBQ DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED.
Premium Unleaded fuel is available at all Service Stations in Karratha.
TO BE HELD UNDER THE INTERNATIONAL SPORTING CODE OF THE FIA AND THE GENERAL KARTING REGULATIONS OF THE AKA
KARRATHA KART CLUB ALLOWS FOR CAMPING AT THE TRACK. TOILETS AND SHOWERS ARE LOCATED IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
