This meeting will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the General Karting Regulations of the AKA and any further addendums and bulletins to the regulations.

Late entries accepted up to last post on Friday 22nd February on subscribed classes only and may be ROF for Heats 1 and 2.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SUNDAY 24TH FEBRUARY.
Payment must be received with entry.
ENTRY IS NOT CONSIDERED VALID OR GENUINE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

Race Format: 735m - racing Clockwise Long track
289 point system
4 heats 10 laps.
Ballot, Reverse Ballot, Highest to rear, Highest to front.

Classes: Midgets, Rookies, Junior National Light, Junior National Heavy, Junior Clubman, Senior National Combined 145kg, Sportsman 100 Light, Sportsman 100 Heavy, Sportsman 100 Super Heavy, (Heavy and Super Heavy maximum kart weights air cooled 88kgs, water cooled 93kgs), Over 40’s, Sportsman 125 Light (160kg), Sportsman 125 Heavy (180kg)
(All Junior Classes presented by “Smarter than Smoking”)

5 entries to constitute as class.
BCKC and stewards of the day reserve the right to alter race format, including numbers of laps, to suit the number of nominations, track conditions & race timetable.

Track will be open from 12pm Noon.

Saturday 23rd February 2008
Unoffical Practice 9.00am to 6.00pm
Scrutineering: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
Registration: 3.00pm to 6.00pm


Sunday 24th February 2008
Registration &
Scrutineering: 6.30am to 7.15am
3 lap carby tune: 7.30 to 8.15am
Officials Brief: 8.15am
Drivers Brief: 8.30am
Racing starts: 9.00am.Sharp
Special Conditions: . Presentations to be held one hour after completion of racing.
• Engines and restrictors will be sealed
• Tyres may be marked as per 2007 AKA Manual..
• No power available. Generators allowed.
Canteen will be open: Saturday: 8.00am
Dinner will be available at 6.30pm if pre-ordered (please see order form attached.)
Sunday: 6.30am - Breakfast available.
BAR FACILITIES AVAILABLE
No alcohol served to drivers until racing is completed.

Conditions:

Sportsman 100 Class

Class to be run in conformity with Chapters 31 and 34 in all respects except as set out below. No other changes are permitted.

Eligible Engines
Yamaha KT100S in conformity with Chapter 34.
ARC Spec 100 Air Cooled in conformity with Chapter 31.
ARC Spec 100 Water Cooled in conformity with Chapter 31.
ARC Spec 100 – Yamaha KT100S Hybrid Water Cooled in conformity with Chapter 31.

All engines must run the AKA 39 controlled muffler

The water cooled engines will run with a 5kg weight penalty .

Maximum kart weight – Heavy classes:
• Aircooled 88kg
• Watercooled 93kg

Tyres
Dry Weather Tyres
MG Red, one set plus one replacement tyre per meeting

Wet Weather Tyres
Dunlop KT6SLW1, one set plus one replacement tyre per meeting.
