The Oakleigh Kart Club will host its Southern City Classic Open Meeting on Saturday 13th of October under lights. Come and race an Open Meeting at Oakleigh and still have a free Sunday!!
If you've never raced under lights, come along and give it a try. Any of the kids who race at Oakleigh's popular Junior Top Guns each year will tell you racing seems even faster at night. Spectators too enjoy the thrills, spills and sparks of a night meeting.
Four of the current lap records at Oakleigh were set at night meetings. Cool, dense air and a bit of grip works wonders - it doesn't just seem faster, it is!
